Highway Department

The Highway Commissioner is responsible for maintenance of all roads and bridges in the Carbondale Township that are not part of any other government road system. The Carbondale Township Highway Department maintains 32 miles of road. The Highway Department also maintains bridges and culverts. Some of the duties of the Highway Department include:

Road repairs and resurfacing
Signage repair and replacement
Roadside mowing
Maintenance of ditches and culverts
